PURPOSE: A wheel position displaying apparatus of an automobile is provided to guide the position of a steering wheel to a driver without changing design of a steering column and a part mounting the steering column. CONSTITUTION: A wheel position displaying apparatus of an automobile includes a steering wheel position sensing element installed at a wheel housing of a car body where a steering wheel is positioned for sensing the position of the steering wheel, a control part(40) outputting a display signal to display the position of the steering wheel, and a steering wheel position display part(50) displaying the position of the steering wheel by the display signal, wherein the steering wheel position sensing element includes a photo sensor(10) including a light-emitting part(11) and a light-receiving part(12) oppositely formed in front and rear of the steering wheel, and a distance sensor(20) installed at right or left upper part of the steering wheel for measuring distance of an object located at the lower part of the steering wheel.
