PURPOSE: A rotary oil damper structure for a rotation element is provided to prevent a rotation element from escaping from a predetermined track by a guide for maintaining a uniform interval in the rack-pinion engagement, thereby obtaining smooth damping effect and removing an allowance. CONSTITUTION: A rotary oil damper structure for a rotation element includes a main body(12) having a pinion gear(11) mounted at an end part of a shaft operating in the oil and to be engaged with a rack of a rotation element, a bushing(13) to be fixed at a mounting position on an outer periphery of the main body, and a guide(14) to be inserted into a slot of the rotation element, wherein the above parts of the rotary oil damper are formed integrally.
