PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push button switch, which can be used at a relatively high voltage, has a thin outward form, and also becomes an NO type or an NC type by some change in structure. SOLUTION: The push button switch comprises a push button 1 which can be freely displaced with respect to a caging 2; a lead switch 3 disposed in the casing 2 in such a manner that it is closely opposite to a face portion along the displacement direction of the push button; and a magnet 4 for the operation of the lead switch 3. The magnet is disposed on the face portion of the lead wire 3-side of the push button 1. According to the displacement of the push button 1, the magnet 4 is moved in the same direction, so that the lead switch 3 is on/off operated at the side of the displacement pathway of the push button 1.
