PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a joined disk type optical recording medium which is improved in a surface wobbling acceleration characteristic and is high in accuracy by surely discharging the air bubbles remaining in the medium. SOLUTION: The joined disk type optical recording medium 1 formed by integrally joining a pair of disks 2a and 2b, at least one of which is a disk type optical recording medium, between the main surfaces facing each other via a joining material 3 is manufactured. The respective joining main surfaces of the respective disks 2a and 2b are provided with the joining material 3 and are bonded to each other by the joining material 3 and thereafter the disks are subjected to a pressing treatment by a press roller 12 moved from one side toward the other side in the state that the disks are brought into pressurized contact with the main surfaces, by which the air bubbles remaining therein are discharged and the disks are integrally joined.
