PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive tracking supervisory system with superior userfriendliness that employs no expensive component such as a complicated optical element or a highly integrated infrared ray sensor array. SOLUTION: The tracking supervisory system consists of a thermal source tracking device 1, that tracks a thermal source by changing the direction of a thermal detection section 10 through biaxial control, a storage arithmetic processing unit 2 that applies processing to the data of the tracking direction of the thermal detection section 10 and an inputted direction of a specific area and outputs an alarm signal when the thermal source enters the specific area, and an alarm means 3 that raises an alarm, when receiving an alarm signal from the storage arithmetic processing unit 2.
