PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently process the data transmitted from a data transmitter in a data receiver. SOLUTION: When printers P1 and P2 transmit data showing a processing speed to a digital camera D, the camera D transmits image data to the printers P1 and P2 at a data transmission speed following the data showing the processing speed. The printers P1 and P2 receive the image data transmitted from the camera D in accordance with the data showing the processing speed and conduct printing processing of the image data. The printers P1 and P2 also notify the camera D of a processing situation while successively progressing printing processing according to the image data received from the camera D. The camera D controls the transmission of the image data in accordance with the processing situation notified by the printers P1 and P2.
