PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid degradation of control accuracy caused by driving an electrically driving means when a battery voltage lowers below a driving assuring voltage during starting cranking. SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device comprises a means 31 for injecting and supplying fuel to an intake air passage, a valve means 32 for controlling an intake air flow giving an effect to an behavior of the fuel injected from the injection supplying means 31, and a means 33 for driving the valve means 32 by obtaining the battery voltage. In this case, a control means 34 controls the opening of the valve means 32 to an intermediate opening with the driving means 33 at the stop of an engine, and the a control means 35 prohibits the driving of the driving means 33 during the starting cranking and drives the valve means 32 to keep it at an intermediate opening at the stop of the engine.
