PURPOSE: A shutter system for an indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to adjust the discharge direction of cold air with plural shutters of sliding door type and to blow the cold air at a long distance or concentrically through an indoor unit of an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A shutter system includes plural gears(30) and motors(50) to open and close both first and second shutters(20,21) from a discharge port(60) in sliding door type. A hinge axis of the first shutter is arranged horizontally under the discharge port while a hinge axis of the second shutter is on the discharge port. A front panel(40) forms additional inclined faces(46,47) at the upper and the lower edge in contact with the discharge port. The inclined faces prevent the first and the second shutter from interference in opening/closing in each upper and lower circumferential direction within a shutter angle of 1-135 degrees. The shutter system moves the shutters at different angles by independent driving of each motor. Thereby, the angle of wind is changed variously and convenience of a user is maximized. In addition, the shutter system has no noise and troubles in working by the hinge structure of each shutter. |
