PURPOSE: A method for protecting a sale in an electronic commerce using a computer network system is provided to smoothly process a delivery of goods and a receipt of charge after performing a dealing of a product on line using a computer network system. CONSTITUTION: A purchaser participates in an auction(21). In case that a closing time of the auction is near, it is determined whether a successful bid according to an auction processing condition(22). A successful bidder pays the price for purchasing a product using a credit card or electronic money(23). In case of confirming money paid from the successful bidder, a server transmits information on money paid and the successful bidder through an electronic mail(24). It is confirmed whether the amounts relevant to a purchasing product is received. The product is delivered to the successful bidder(25). The bidder confirms the product, and transmits confirmation information to the server(26). In case that it is admitted as a normal delivery of goods(27), the money paid to the server is sent to the purchaser(28). In case that something is wrong with the product, the product is returned to the purchaser(29). In case of receiving the product, a seller transmits confirmation information to the server(30). In case that the server confirms whether the product is returned(31), the money paid to the server is sent to the successful bidder(32).
