PURPOSE: A steering column mounting structure reduces the deformation of a car room in collision and blocks vibration and noise transmitted from an engine room on the way thereof. CONSTITUTION: A steering column mounting structure comprises a first mounting bracket(24), a second mounting bracket(34). The first mounting bracket(24) is integrally formed with multiple through holes(24a, 24b), an aperture(24c) and a cut portion(24d). The second mounting bracket(34) is integrally formed with multiple through holes(34a), multiple asperities(34b), an aperture(34c), a cut portion(34d) and a receiving groove(34e). The second mounting bracket(34) received in the first mounting bracket(24) and connected with an asperity connected to a steering column(10) supports the steering column(10). The steering column is firmly supported on a dash panel(12) so as to reduce the deformation of a car room in collision.
