PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the stator of an AC generator for a vehicle which can reduce noise, by improving the mountability of a stator coil. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a stator 8 which has a stator core 122 where a plurality of slots 125 are made at the inside periphery and stator coils 23 set in the slots 125, and a rotor 6 which is provided inside the stator 8 and has a rotor coil 15 generating a magnetic flux and a pole core 16 covering the rotor coil 15 and has a claw-shaped magnetic pole formed, and here the number of slots 125 is two per pole, phase, and set, and the total number is seventy two or more, and the stator core 122 is one which is circled in a ring form by bending itself so that the stator coil may come inside and abutting both ends against each other after stacking plate-shaped magnetic members where a plurality of teeth 124 to form slots 125 are made on one side of a yoke 123 and arranging the stator coils 123 in the slots 125. |
