PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform information exchange even with one hand while applying illumination to an object. SOLUTION: This illuminator 100 for portable communication equipment is provided with a mounting part 101 that can be attached/detached to/from a connector 605 for alternating current adapter connection of a portable telephone set 601, an operation knob 110, a battery, a LED 113, a switch that is opened and closed by the operation of the knob 110 and is arranged between the battery and the LED 113 and a holding part 102 which is provided on the part 101 in a freely turnable way and holds the LED 113. The mounting part 101 is attached to the connector 605, the switch is closed by operating the knob 110 and the LED 113 is made to emit light. The light from the LED 113 illuminates an object such as a diagram by turning the part 102 in the upper or rear surface direction of the portable telephone set 601 while performing speech communication by the set 601. |
