<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate step by step and irregular tension a power transmission cable, adequately set a load generated when the power transmission cable starts to move with irregular tension and clearly set the moving range of the power transmission cable. SOLUTION: This apparatus for alleviating irregular tension of the aerial power transmission cable comprised a suspending insulator 12, a support body 16 provided at the lower end thereof to support the power transmission cable 14 from the lower side assuring the movement in the line direction, an attached cable 22 where both end portions are allocated at the lower side of the power transmission cable 14 so that the intermediate part in the lengthwise direction runs along the lower side of the support body 16, and a clamp 24 for holding the power transmission cable 14 and an attached cable 22 at a plurality of points keeping the interval in the line direction with both sides of the support body 16. If irregular tension is applied to the power transmission cable 14 between the diameters in the single side of the suspending insulator 12, a wheel 20 with groove of the support body 16 catches the part between the power transmission cable 14 and attached cable 22. When a force for separating the power transmission cable 14 and attached cable 22 exceeds a constant limit, the clamp 24 is broken and the power transmission cable 14 is relieved to alleviate irregular tension thereof.</p> |
