PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven power steering device having a torque sensor improved in detecting sensitivity while reducing the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The detecting sensitivity of a torque sensor is not lowered as the spontaneous magnetization is generated only near a surface of a groove member 3A by skin effect, even when the groove member 3A is formed by a thin plate member. On the other hand, the large phase delay of the magnetic field is not generated at a part furthermost from the surface of the groove member 3A, that is, an amount of spontaneous magnetization generated by the total groove member 3A is not canceled, which increases the detecting sensitivity of the torque sensor. |
