PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of the insulating property between a conned battery 1 and a wound electrode body 4, coursed by an oscillation and impact force from outside and a cladding break of the wound electrode body 4, in a cylindrical battery where the generated power of the wound electrode body 4 accommodated in the inside of a canned battery 1 can be taken out from a pair of an electrode terminal mechanism 9. SOLUTION: A cylindrical insulator 2, which can be fitted into the inner circumferential face of a wound electrode body 4, is installed at least in the one end part in the canned battery 1, and a flange part 22 which can be put on the end face of the wound electrode body 4 is installed protrudingly at the inner circumferential face of the above cylindrical insulator 2. In addition, on the inner circumferential face of the canned battery 1, a concave part 14 which can be fitted into the cylindrical insulator 2 is formed. |
