PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large-sized nonaqueous electrolyte battery which can secure insulation sealing structure, with high safety and without having to increase the number of parts. SOLUTION: Between a folding part 11a and a stage part 11b, sealed battery cap groups 14 and a battery can 11 are hermetically fitted with caulking via a insulation member 12 made of PFA resin, which has a superior sealing/ insulation properties and heat resistance. A skirt part 12a is formed at the insulation member 12, and even if the battery is deformed by an external stress from the lateral outside corresponding to the space 15, the short circuit is prevented between a positive electrode lead 5 and a stage part 11a. An axis core 11 makes contact with the bottom of the battery can 11 and the upper cap case 7 and regulates the movement of the electrode groups 13. The upper cap case 7 is made of an aluminum alloy and has a corrosion resistance with respect to nonaqueous electrolyte. |
