PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home page retrieving system, with which a home page having locally limited information can be efficiently retrieved. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a retrieval code receiving means 4 for receiving retrieval code data containing at least one of an area code designating an area and a category code designating data except for the area from information terminals 3, a retrieval means 6 for retrieving the home page having the area code and the last received category code when the retrieval code data containing only the area code are received by the retrieval code receiving means and retrieving the home page having the category code and the last received area code when the retrieval code data containing only the category code are received by the retrieval code receiving means and an information data transmitting means 7 for transmitting the information data of the home page retrieved by the retrieval means 6 to the information terminals 3.
