PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mountless label which is applicable to printing of vari able information by a thermal transfer system, can impart diversity to the materials of a label base material 2, a release agent layer and tacky adhesive layers and has excellent preservable property and durability. SOLUTION: This mountless label is formed by noticing the fact that the front surface of a label base material 2 is dividedly provided with a printing region 22 and release regions 21 and the rear surface of the label base material 2 is dividedly provided with tacky adhesive regions 23 and a non-tacky adhesive region 24. The front surface is provided with the release region 21 and the printing region 22 not formed with the release agent layer and the rear surface is provided with the tacky adhesive regions 23 and the non-tacky adhesive region 24 not formed with the tacky adhesive agent layers. The release regions 21 and the tacky adhesive regions 23 are disposed in the positions facing each other in the thickness direction of the label base material 2 and the printing region 22 and the non-tacky adhesive region 24 are disposed in the positions facing each other in the thickness direction of the label base material 2.
