PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking appliance having a temperature sensor improved in a performance of detection. SOLUTION: A thermal fuse can break the power supply of a main body 1 when it senses the heat of a prescribed temperature or above is incorporated in the temperature sensor 5. The sensor 5 is provided in the base part of the main body 1 provided at a height above a cooking table 4 in suspension from the ceiling side. A hole part 7 making the outside of an exterior part 2 communicate with the temperature sensor 5 is provided in an installation surface 6 whereon the exterior part 2 and the temperature sensor 5 are fitted, and an almost cylindrical hot-melt resin body 8 is plugged in the hole part 7.
