PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburetor having a simply structured passage for feeding the fuel dropped on the bottom of a throttle hole in a small opening area of a throttle valve, so as to prevent fuel stagnancy which would cause an engine trouble. SOLUTION: On the periphery surface of the bottom end of the throttle valve 4, a groove passage 25 extends in the circumferential direction of the open bottom end of the throttle hole 5. A carburetor body 1 is formed with a conducting passage 26 communicating a hole bottom 3a of a valve hole 3 with an intake passage 2 downstream of the throttle valve. When fuel coming from a fuel nozzle 23 drops in the throttle hole 5, it is absorbed by negative pressure from the groove passage 25 and the conducting passage 26, so as not to make fuel stagnancy, which would cause shortage or excess supply of fuel.
