摘要	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rebounding opening of a door panel with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This braking device for a sliding door is provided with a plate- like braking applying member 1 being installed on the door frame A side and projecting to the door panel B side and a braking member 2 installed on the door panel B side and elastically pressed to the braking applying member 1. The braking applying member 1 forms a catch groove 14 for immersing and locking the braking member 2, and the braking member 2 can tilt in the opening-closing direction of the door panel B.
