PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for discharging gift certificates that is connected with a vending machine, which can promote selling of the machine by giving the certificate whenever buying goods from the vending machine. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a main body(10) fixed at one side of a vending machine and composed of a front cover(11) with an outlet port(12) and a rear cover opened and shut, a central wall dividing the inside of the body into a first and a second chambers(20,30), a first partition(21) dividing the inside of the first chamber up and down to place a controller(40) and a driving motor(41) separately, a switch(43) of which one end is electrically contacted with the controller and the other end is passed through the body and the inside of the vending machine to be operated by a discharged item from the vending machine, a second partition(31) dividing the inside of the first chamber up and down to place gift certificates at the top and a driving roller(50) operated by the motor and including an opened groove(63) at the top face, and a sensor placed in the second chamber for controlling the controller by sensing discharge of the gift certificate through the outlet port. |
