PURPOSE: A water level adjusting device of an ice maker is provided to obtain ice pieces having regular thickness by keeping the water level in plural ice-making grooves regular. CONSTITUTION: Water is supplied through a water feed pipe(P) after an ice-making container(2) is kept horizontal. To adjust the water level in the ice-making container regular, the ice-making container is rotated repeatedly to left and right at a specific angle. The ice-making container is rotated clockwise and then counterclockwise. Thereby, the ice-making container is kept horizontal. The angle range for rotation of the ice-making container is set without overflowing water in the ice-making container to a side. The entire water level of the ice-making container is kept regular as a large amount of water in each ice-making groove(2a) in the middle of the ice-making container overflows to the ice-making groove at the edge. Therefore, the ice-making grooves have regular water level.
