PURPOSE: A blower motor of an air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to drive a compressor and a blower smoothly by connecting a shaft of the compressor to a vehicle engine and the other shaft with the blower through a coupling or joint. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic clutch(4) is mounted at the output terminal of an engine, and a compressor(2) having both shafts is connected to the output terminal of the magnetic clutch. One of the compressor shafts is connected with the magnetic clutch to drive the compressor while the other shaft is connected with a universal shaft(7) of a blower unit(3). The blower unit is driven by the compressor operated by the magnetic clutch. Thereby, the blower unit is driven efficiently. The universal shaft is connected to the compressor shaft by a coupling using a flange or by universal joints of the compressor shaft and the blower unit shaft. Therefore, the blower unit is operated without noise or vibration by power from the compressor.
