The device measures auditory potentials directly and provides a signal which is transmitted out through the skin to a detector. The device for measuring and collecting biologically produced electrical signals within the ear comprises an implantable device with at least two extra-cochlear electrodes (E+, E-) which are connected to the inputs of a differential amplifier. A sealed box (2) is provided which integrates the amplifier and a transmitter for contactless transmission of radio signals through the skin to a external unit. A reference electrode is provided which is connected to the earth of the amplifier. The electrodes (E+, E-) are situated on opposite sides of the box, in diametrically opposite positions on the ends of flexible supports, enabling them to be positioned optimally.
