PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of being made more improved in quality, lower in cost, smaller in size and lighter in weight than heretofore, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In a substrate 102 of a liquid crystal display device on which one or more liquid crystal display device driving parts 105 are mounted, a first connection member 109 is electrically connected to first display part wirings 108 which are continuously formed on the substrate to be straddled over the one or more parts 105. Thus, the structure and the manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display device low in cost, small in size, light in weight and high in reliability without causing any defective connection are obtained.
