PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize developing and simultaneous cleaning by a normal contact and of one component developing method. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an image carrier 2 where an electrostatic latent image is formed, an electrifying means electrifying the image carrier to a specified polarity, an exposing means 5 to exposed the image to the image carrier and a developer carrier 1 with a surface consisting of material of wore reverse polarity side to the polarity of the normal developer in a rank of electrification compared with developer and carrying out developing by having the developer attached to an unexposed part by being brought into contact with the image carrier with a difference in circumferential speed. Thus, developing and simultaneous cleaning is carried out by having force of attachment in the residual developer that has its polarity changed by uniform electrification by the electrifying means decreased by having it electrified by friction with the developer carrier and having it electrically attracted to the developer carrier. |
