摘要 PURPOSE: An optical pickup device is provided to secure a skew margin sufficiently by masking light beam to be made an incidence to an optical disk at a tangential direction. CONSTITUTION: A light beam control part masks a light beam at a direction of short length out of a radial direction and a tangential direction on an optical path of the light beam to be made an incidence to an optical disk and controls the light beam which is focused to the optical disk to be of a same sized beam shape at a radial direction and a tangential direction. A light source(30) generates the light beam(31). A 45°reflection mirror(34) masks an upper part and a lower part of the light beam(31) at a tangential direction against the optical disk(10). An objective lens(36) focuses the light beam(31) to be made the incidence from the 45°reflection mirror(34). A collimation lens(32) converts the light beam(31) generated from the light source(30) into a parallel beam and is made the incidence to the 45°reflection mirror(34). A black line(34a,34b) is coated to mask the light beam(31) at a designated part of an upper part and a lower part of the 45°reflection mirror(34) at the tangential direction.
