PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control device for an internal combustion engine which has good assembling workability and can prevent stress distortion while ensuring a seal state. SOLUTION: An intake bore wall 40 in a throttle assembly 30 provided with a seal member 60 is inserted from its tip side to a dead-end hole portion 21 of a throttle assembly part 20, and both flange parts 35 and 25 are fixed by means of a screw 65. Then a bore diameter of the inner wall of the intake bore wall 40 of the throttle assembly 30 is fitted in that of an intake passage 11 of the throttle assembly part 20 and the outside wall surface of the intake bore wall 40 and the inner wall surface of the dead-end hole part 21 are sealed through the seal member 60. Namely, the throttle assembly 30 accompanied by the seal member 60 is simply inserted from the side wall of the throttle assembly part 20 along with the dead-end hole portion 21, in a vertical direction to a flow of air in the intake passage 11. The assembling workability therefore can be excellent, the structure to seal the throttle assembly 30 and the throttle assembly 20 can be simplified and the stress distortion can be prevented.
