PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sampler which has a structure in which a floating object on a molten metal is hardly taken into a sample when it is immersed in the molten metal. SOLUTION: In the sampler, for the collection of the molten metal, which is composed of a bottomed cylindrical container, the outer shape in the bottom part of the container is formed in a drill body shape which protrudes downward.
