METHOD OF HERMETICALLY PACKAGING OPTICAL PARTS, AS WELL AS HERMETIC PACKAGE FOR OPTICAL PARTS, AND DOUBLE HERMETIC PACKAGE FOR OPTICAL PARTS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of hermetically packaging optical parts which can easily prevent moisture permeation and permeating gas without high- temperature heating and can improve the durability of the optical parts, as well as a hermetic package for the optical parts, and a double hermetic package for the optical parts. SOLUTION: The characteristic constitution technique which encloses the optical parts (a) from above and below by films 1 which are enclosures of a layer structure having at least moisture impermeable and gas impermeable internal metallic layers and thermally compression bondable external thermoplastic polymer layers and thermally compression bonding the external thermoplastic polymer layers in contact with the circumferential edges of the films in superposition therewith by heat sealing, thereby internally sealing the optical parts from the outside world and shielding the same is adopted for the method for hermetically packaging the optical parts.
