PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation calculating method of a Josephson element which can reproduce the operation of a Josephson element accurately and easily more than the conventional art, and a recording medium capable of computer reading. SOLUTION: By considering voltage dependency of conductance of a Josephson element, voltage current characteristic of the Josephson element can be accurately calculated. For example, by considering conductance of the Josephson element at a voltage higher than a gap voltage and a voltage lower than the gap voltage, voltage current characteristics of the Josephson element in the superconducting state and the normal conducting state can be accurately calculated. When the Josephson element in the state of voltage, and phase difference increases or decreases continuously and reaches a value, it is reset, thereby eliminating overflow of variables and preventing miscalculation due to cancellation of the variables.
