PURPOSE: A tank type inter cooler structure is provided to remove an additional coupling hose required for joining tank parts to pipes of an inlet and an outlet and reduce the number of clamps required for assembling, thereby improving the assembling efficiency and reducing the production costs. CONSTITUTION: A tank type inter cooler structure includes an inter cooler core(11), tank parts(13,15) joined to both side ends of the inter cooler core to be communicated with pipes of an inlet and an outlet(21,23), wherein the tank parts are directly joined to the pipe of the inlet and the outlet by forming soft plastic coupling elements(13b,15b) at the part where the tank parts are joined to the pipe of the inlet and the outlet, and forming a hard plastic body part(13a) at the part where the tank parts are joined to the inter cooler core.
