PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform good calibration while holding advantages of a print system in the print system to be constituted by using a printer server. SOLUTION: When a host computer transmits printing information and a color correction request for calibration to the printer server for printing (S301), the printer server selects a suitable printer among printers to be connected with a network (S302) and requests color correction information to the selected printer (S303). The color correction information is transmitted to the request from the printer (S304), a predicted value of change of a printer engine is calculated based on the printing data stored to be printed by the selected printer (S305) and the color correction information by considering the predicted value is transmitted to the host computer (S306). The host computer creates γ correction table data based on the color correction information and transmits it to the printer together with the printing information via the printer server (S307, S308). |
