<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To curtail electric parts, such as plungers, using costly solenoids and to inexpensively manufacture a tape recorder which can surely execute various actions at adequate timing by mechanical constitution. SOLUTION: The position of a magnetic head 104 is manipulated to be selectively moved cooperatively with an action changeover cam 88 of a cam gear 38 of a traveling mode changeover mechanism and the traveling direction of a magnetic tape is manipulated to be changed over cooperatively with a cam 140 of a tooth lacking cam gear 40 of a traveling direction changeover mechanism mounted meshably with the cam gear 38 of the traveling mode changeover mechanism and releasably of the meshing in the tooth lacking part. The interlocking mechanism is manipulated by the cam gear 38 at the point of the time the prescribed action set by the traveling mode changeover mechanism is carried out, by which the meshing of the tooth lacking gear 40 with the cam gear 38 is started. The prescribed action having the association with traveling mode changeover mechanism and the traveling direction changeover mechanism is executed.</p> |
