<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner whose indoor unit can be simply installed in a room which is narrow in installation space such as those on a decoration room and a dressing room, and whose fine view after completion of the installation improved. SOLUTION: Two arms extending in the direction of the center of a ceiling plate are provided on an anchoring plate anchored to a wall, and a plurality of pawls are provided on lower surface of the arms. Engagement pieces provided on an upper surface of an indoor unit are inserted into these pawls, on which the indoor unit is hung down. Since an escape portion is provided on the arms for escaping a round edge located at a boundary between the ceiling and the wall, as the arms are installed near the ceiling plate, the indoor unit is installed too in close vicinity with the ceiling plate so that outer appearance after the installation is improved.</p> |
