<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate firmware development, and to attain miniaturization and low power consumption in a digital signal processor having an instruction memory in which instructions are stored and a table memory in which various coefficients or the like are stored. SOLUTION: This DSP is provided with an arithmetic processing part 1, a memory 2 in which instructions are stored, a table memory 3 in which various constants or the like are stored, and a data memory 4 to be used as a work area. The instruction memory 2 is constituted of a read only memory(ROM) 2A in which instructions whose change is not required are stored and a random access memory(RAM) 2B in which instructions to be changed or added are stored, and the table memory 3 is also constituted of an ROM 3A in which fixed constants are stored and an RAM 3B in which constants whose change is required are stored.</p> |
