<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very convenient, extremely of high value and epoch- making pivot structure of a foldable portable telephone. SOLUTION: The pivot structure having an operating unit 2 with a telephone operating part 1 provided on the surface and a display 3 with a display screen 6 capable of indicating numerals and characters such as telephone numbers and names on the surface, comprises an energizing mechanism S disposed at a pivot 4 of the operating unit and the display 3 which can develop closing energy force for pressing the display 3 in the closing direction in a range of a specified open position A from a folded closed state of the display 3, relative to the operating unit 2 and an opening energy for pressing the display 3 in the opening direction in a range of a specified open position B from a maximum opened state of the display 3, relative to the operating unit 2.</p> |
