PLOTTING METHOD FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plotting method of a liquid crystal display device capable of pasting display elements on its display screen so that they are spread over a plurality of segments and to provide its device. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 2 is constituted of a display data processing block 5 which performs data transfer between the block and an external equipment and processes plotting data which are to be displayed on the basis of the transfer, a liquid crystal display driver 4 which transfers plotting data to be transferred from the block 5 to a liquid crystal panel 3 as bit data and a liquid crystal panel 3 which displays part elements at prescribed coordinate positions by using the bit data from the driver 4. The panel 3 is made to perform the plotting in a segment unit by using bit data transmitted from the driver 4. When the pasting positions of the part elements are spread over a plurality of segments of the vertical direction and their size in the Y axis direction is spread over a plurality of segments, the panel 3 generates plotting data by dividing them for every part which is displayed in each segment of the vertical direction.
