PURPOSE: Structure of a piston head for an engine of directly injecting gasoline is provided to improve the efficiency of fuel through collecting the fuel near a spark plug. CONSTITUTION: Fuel injection is started before a top dead center for 340. Herein, a recess unit at a lower portion of an injector(16) side from a bowl unit(24) is formed in an identified angle with an angle of the injector. Therefore, the fuel injected from the injector is flowed to a tangent direction of the bowl unit. Angle of a portion opposite from the suction port of a cylinder head(28) is formed to flow air through the suction port(18) toward inner direction. A squish unit(26) lowered from an outer portion of the bowl unit toward the piston head is formed to prevent tumble fluctuation from being changed into eddy current according to formation of the bowl unit. By increasing area of the squish unit, sucked amount of air is increased while increasing eddy current at a post period of combustion. Therefore, the fuel is completely burned.
