SOLUTION: A dot matrix display area A where display electrodes are arranged in a matrix form and a periphery driving circuit is arranged for supplying driving signals to the display electrodes, and a segment display area B consisting of segment electrodes are provided on one insulating substrate 10, and power consumption is reduced by displaying unfixed images like moving images on the dot matrix display area A and displaying fixed images like patterns or the like for displaying a residual amount of battery on the segment display area B.
