PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus duct connecting portion which assures easier accurate connecting work of bus duct and can prevent as much as possible the deforma tion of connecting portion and bus duct when connected. SOLUTION: In this bus duct connecting portion, an insulation separator in which the conductor end portions of the bus duct to be connected are allocated insertable to each other and a duct side plate relaying plate for holding the insulation separator from both external sides are integrally tightened, an inward projection is provided almost at the center of the internal surface of the duct side plate relaying plate, the bus duct side plate can be inserted to the space formed between the insulation separator in the outer most side and the duct side plate relaying plate, and the end of the bus duct side plate is in contact with the inward projection under the inserting condition.
