PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of preventing a fitting part for fixing a casing and a LCD cover of the liquid crystal display device from coming off and the damage of a claw part of the fitting part, even when the impact due to vibration, falling and the like is applied to a note type computer having the liquid crystal display device and having a fixing means, whose maintenance is facilitated by detaching the case and the LCD cover. SOLUTION: A frame-shaped cushion material 7 having an inside dimension smaller than the outside dimension of a liquid crystal display element 2 and formed of a material having an excellent elastic modulus and a high frictional coefficient is fitted in the inner part of the case 4 of the liquid crystal display device and the liquid crystal display element 2 is fitted in the frame.
