PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information terminal which can select its necessary information and can receive the necessary service according to the selected information and also to provide an information distribution system. SOLUTION: An information terminal 101 acquires the service information from an information transmitting device 104 via the Internet 103 and requests the device 104 for the necessary service information via the Internet 103 to acquire more service information in the same way. In regard to the service information of the device 104, at least one or more service information, i.e., voice, data, image, etc., can be selected in response to the requests of the terminal 101. Furthermore, the service information includes the advertisement information, the consumption information on the expendables, etc., and the entertainment information on the music, movies, games, etc., and one or more entertainment information on the titles, artist names, cost, partial auditions, etc., can be acquired.
