PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and preserving liquid for contact lenses of one package type which attains the compatibility of excellent initial detergency and the long-term maintenance of detergency by the stabilization of protease and has the characteristic and feel suitable as the washing and preserving liquid for contact lenses. SOLUTION: This washing and preserving liquid for contact lenses contains the protease, trimethyl glycine, waters-soluble polyhydric alcohol and surfactant.
