PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road design device plotting a clothoid curve without conducting an exceptional processing near a clothoid origin at the time of plotting the curvature mitigate curve of a road by using the clothoid curve. SOLUTION: The road design device 10 is provided with input parts 11a and 11b inputting design condition information and a design processing command, an input control part 11 controlling the input parts 11a and 11b, design condition DB 13 stores design condition informations, etc., a road design processing part 12 deigning the road based on the design processing command and design condition information, result DB 14 holding a generated road deign plan, an image data processing part 15 which format-converts the data file of the road design plan, output parts 16a and 16b outputting the road design plan to a picture and print paper and an output control part 16 controlling the output parts 16a and 16b.
