<p>PURPOSE: A power charging device and a method of an electric vehicle are provided to assure a stable power charging operation by adding a power charging stabilizing device to a power cable without adding a separate stabilizing device to a charging circuit mounted on the electric vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor(240) is positioned on a plug(230) connected to a porter(310) of the electric vehicle(300) to detect temperature. A controller outputs a power charging breaker signal if the temperature detected by the temperature sensor(240) is higher than a predetermined setting value. A power breaker unit(260) breaks the power supply by the power charging breaker signal output from the controller(250), and lightens an alarm lamp.</p> |
