摘要 PURPOSE: A circuit for detecting the polarity of the horizontal synchronous signal of a display device is provided to minimize a pattern ares for monitoring a short and a bridge fail of metal wiring by building up wiring lines having polygon screw structure, a common electrode, and a monitoring electrode. CONSTITUTION: Because a gap between pole line patterns of the second wiring line is controlled, a fine bridge fail is monitored. And, because each of the first wiring line and the second wiring line have a horizontal patterns, a vertical pattern, and an oblique line pattern, the first wiring line and the second wiring line are used as pattern for measuring a critical condition. And, in the case that the first wiring line is short between a common electrode(P11) and the first monitoring electrode(P12), a current is not flowed, and because the second wiring line is built up through each pole line pattern between the common electrode(P11) and the second monitoring electrode(P13), a current is not flowed. For this reason, a metal wiring short fail is monitored.
