摘要

The device is composed of three pieces (A,B) the first two being used to fix the large trochanter after installing a hip prothesis. The first piece (A) is a clip with 3 or 4 branches (1) with a socket having a central opening. The piece (B) is a screw whose end (5) has a thread screwed into the housing (6) located at the back of the femoral piece tail near the base of the neck. The other end of the screw is a head (4) which is wider than the socket opening. A third piece which places the first two pieces has a threaded end which is screwed temporarily into the femoral piece whilst its other end is a point which enables drilling the trochanter to place it n a good position. Once the clip slides into this piece it is replaced by the screw.
