PURPOSE: Provided is an adhesive tape which maintains excellent heat resistance and moisture barrier properties and is less expensive. CONSTITUTION: The pressure sensitive adhesive tape comprises a substrate and a pressure-sensitive adhesive, wherein the substrate is a film comprising a liquid crystalline polymer that shows an optical anisotropy upon melting. The adhesive tape has the heat-resistant temperature of the film comprising the liquid crystalline polymer that shows an optical anisotropy upon melting is 120deg.C or above, wherein the heat-resistant temperature is a temperature at which the time required to reduce half the tensile break strength in the MD direction is 40,000 hours.
